Trading Simulation
MarketSim’s Trading Simulation (as used in the traders trophy worldwide) is designed to put the participant in the seat of a real broker.
Between 10 and 40 participants are linked simulaneously via networked computers to create a virtual 'dealing room' environment. Each computer represents the trading desk of one trader, at which the participant has access to news, phone lines and graphs of the traded security.
During one session a full trading day is simulated. However, this can be stretched to multiple days in order to show the impact of overnight positions. The participants are required to respond to clients, manage risks and liquidity and generate profits. This experience provides insights into the dynamics of the financial markets After the session, the trainer provides both group and individual feedback, reviewing the market developments, prices and individual positions, strategy and profit/loss.
Single or multiple instruments may be traded and scenarios can be developed for specific client needs and can be adjusted to any global or regional financial market environment.
